It is one of the world's largest development banks, but few have heard of it. With a campaign line 'That's why…', we ran commercials on Al Jazeera, CNN and other channels, plus online ads on the BBC, Wall Street Journal and other media.
The campaign showed the fantastic work the IDB is doing to support communities worldwide. Results have been impressive; 9 TV commercials delivered
4 million target audience impacts, the online ads clicked through at a rate 7 times higher than the financial industry average, and thousands visited the social media channels set up.
All activity was channelled to a central Microsite supporting the campaign and adding tracking facilities. We also carried out a global study on effectiveness.
